What Is Our Online Intensive Designed For?

The Crucible Online Intensive happens over as a weekend online retreat. This online retreat is meant to challenge you to take a hard look at what is working in your life and what is NOT. It will push beyond typical Christian answers.

This online retreat will challenge you to take that journey, let go of your excuses, move beyond blaming others. You will look at how you contribute to those parts of your life that are not working.

The Crucible Online Intensive is an experience that will challenge you, primarily emotionally but also spiritually. If your motivation comes from those who invited you, it will quickly fade once the weekend begins. The resolve to step into each challenge this intensive presents can only come from you deciding you want this for yourself and are ready to do whatever it takes. You want to confront those parts that are holding you back from the life you want for yourself.

You will be present to step into the unknown. First, into various exercises and activities that are new to you, and beyond that, into the strange places within yourself. What is the difference between the Crucible Weekend and the Crucible Online Intensive?

The Crucible Weekend is an in-person retreat. The Crucible Online Intensive has most of the same experiences online and some not offered in person. Due to the pandemic, a team of veteran Crucible leaders began working on how to take our incredibly transformational weekend experiences into a online environment. What we have learned is that they produce the same results. If you have experienced our Crucible Weekend, you will find many of the same experiences as well as a few new ones on these online retreats.

This online retreat is excellent for men who do not want to travel to our in-person weekend retreats. Other reasons could be that they want to stay in their own bed, have medical and dietary concerns, or have physical limitations.

The Intensive is scheduled from 6:30 PM Friday until 1 PM on Sunday. A pre-weekend interview about the device you will be using during the Intensive is required, in addition to other pre-weekend homework.
