Do You Feel the Excitement of This Movement?

This movement is growing. As these new Redwoods leave, they will be effecting change where they live, work, play, learn, and worship. They need your support. If you connected with one or more of the new Redwoods, reach out and check in with them. Encourage their continued journey by reminding them to stay connected with their accountability partners and get involved in a growth group. Never leave a new Redwood behind!

“The amount of compassion in your heart for another’s soul is equal to your effort to share the Crucible opportunity with them. If you are not inviting people in your circles to the Crucible experience, check your level of compassion.”

— James Henderson

Retreat Leader and Mexico Regional Leader

Who Do You Know You Need to Reach Out To?

Something during your retreat may have stirred a new opportunity for growth—a place for you to visit again on the carpet. Do not do life alone! Who do you need to connect with to continue your own work?

You may have thought of one or two Redwoods you haven't seen in a while. Who do you need to reach out to and let them know you're thinking about them? Don't leave them behind.

You probably also thought of a few people you need to invite into this work. Don't leave them behind. Contact them today—right now—and share the opportunity.

Thank You for Crucible's Impact

In Fiscal Year 2026, 1,063 souls touched a piece of their shadow and experienced the scandalous grace of God at one of our initial retreats. Over 300 Redwoods continued their journey through one of our Second Level Weekends, and more than 1,300 volunteers, like you, helped participants face the fire and find their gold. Together, we directly impacted 2,414 lives.

The actual cost per participant per weekend last fiscal year was $817 due to rising inflation and retreat site increases. Generous Redwoods helped support each of the 1,063 participants with an average of $87 for every full-paying participant. Many participants on the retreat you staffed also required additional financial assistance to attend. In fact, $106,470 in financial assistance was awarded for initial retreats last fiscal year.

The only way we can continue doing what we believe God has called us to do is for Redwoods like you and me to "pay it forward" for the more than one thousand participants expected to attend the seventy retreats scheduled across three continents over the next twelve months.

About 85% of Volunteers Are Donors: Are You?

If you are like me and already donate regularly to this mission, thank you! Your financial support is indispensable. Please let other Redwoods know why you give and encourage them to join you. Thank you for investing in the lives God is transforming through this ministry.

If you are not yet financially supporting this mission, may I ask you to prayerfully consider it? Studies show that 85% of volunteers financially support the nonprofit where they serve. Donating Redwoods and I invite you to join this movement by investing in Crucible's mission. Your gifts help provide financial assistance for initial retreats, strengthen local communities, develop leaders, expand outreach, create new curriculum, and build the systems needed to sustain future growth.

Will You Join Fellow Redwoods Who Are Paying It Forward?

If every Redwood serving on retreat staff donated the average price of a latte each week, roughly $25 a month would fund growth opportunities and provide the financial assistance needed as we continue to grow. You may not be in a financial position to do that today, or you may feel blessed to give even more. Whatever your situation, please prayerfully consider how you can help pay it forward for future participants.
