Reflecting on 2025: What Is God Showing You?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24

As one calendar year closes and another approaches, one of the most powerful things you can do is pause. Not to ruminate in regret—but to reflect. To name what occurred, what changed, what hurt, what blossomed, what you resisted and what you embraced.

Consider taking a journal or a cup of quiet time and ask yourself:

  • Where did I experience God’s faithfulness in 2025?
  • What challenges shaped me, and what did I learn?
  • What patterns, sins, or fears kept me stuck?
  • What relationships grew? What relationships separated?
  • Where was I most alive? Where was I most disconnected?

“Reflection creates space for gratitude, repentance, and clarity. It helps us tell the truth—both the beauty and the brokenness—so we can hear God’s voice more clearly.” — Roy Wooten

When we reflect, we stop running. We enter into truth. And when we tell the truth—honestly, painfully, gratefully—we give God space to speak a new word for the next chapter.

If you desire intentional growth and courageous clarity for 2026, this is a perfect time to begin coaching with The Crucible Project. You can interview a Crucible Coach to see if you’re a match or free.  Let’s start the year grounded in truth and open to what God wants to do.
