When Change Is Stirring but You Can’t Explain It

Most people don’t wake up one morning saying, “I’m ready for a transformational retreat.” They wake up saying things like, “Something needs to change.” “I feel stuck.” “I can’t keep living this way.”

It’s not always dramatic. Sometimes it’s just a quiet ache—a sense that there’s more to life than what you’re experiencing. You may not even know what you’re looking for. You just know you’re ready for something real.

That’s often how people find The Crucible Project.

If you’ve been exploring our website, you’ve probably noticed we don’t share many details about the retreat itself. That’s intentional. We believe transformation happens best when you arrive open—without expectations or preconceived ideas. Every person’s journey is unique, and we want you to encounter yours fresh.

Still, if you’re curious, here’s what you can know.

It’s Not a Typical Retreat

A Crucible weekend isn’t a church conference, a men’s or women’s event, or a lecture series. You won’t sit through teaching sessions or take notes. Instead, you’ll move through a series of guided experiences that help you face what’s been holding you back and reconnect with who God created you to be.

The weekend is designed to move truth from your head into your heart—to help you live it, not just learn it.

When you arrive, you won’t get a schedule or an agenda. Not because we’re hiding something—but because transformation requires trust, not control. By stepping into the unknown, you can experience the weekend with honesty, openness, and freedom.

What It Costs and What It’s Worth

The cost of an initial weekend retreat is $795, with flexible monthly payment options as low as $85 (and a pay-in-full discount). And if finances are tight, assistance is available. We will not let money be the determining factor that keeps you from being able to attend.

Compared to therapy, leadership programs, or other Christian transformation experiences that range from $1,000 to $10,000, Crucible remains one of the most affordable - and impactful - retreats available.
